Before becoming a personal trainer Ronan worked as a chef for over 10 years in some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in Ireland and the UK. 8 years ago he decided to leave the chef trade and focus on his true passion, health and fitness. Ronans clients now benefit from his knowledge of cooking, getting fast easy healthy recipes to help them achieve their fitness goals. He also offers healthy cooking demonstrations in the houses of some of his clients.
Ronan qualified and started working as a personal trainer 7 years ago. To further improve his knowledge he spent a year and a half going to Dublin one day every month receiving 3 personal training sessions a day from Eoin Lacey, (the strength coach of UFC sensation Conor McGregor) helping him to expand his knowledge of program design, nutrition and achieving results.
Not content with learning from the best in Ireland, Ronan has spent time in London and Bath learning from some of the UKs best coaches. In September 2013 he completed an internship with Tom Crudgington of Body Development in Bath, one of the UKs top trainers in one of the UKs top gyms.
Ronan also played hurling and practiced martial arts for many years.
