Stephen is a graduate of the Institute of Technology Tralee where he attained a BSc Degree in Health and Leisure as well as a BSc First Class Honours Degree in Adapted Physical Activity. He is very interested in the strength and conditioning element of elite team sports as well as one to one coaching and personal training. Stephen is currently Strength and Conditioning Coach to a range of elite athletes from various different sporting backgrounds as well as a range of teams including inter county GAA sides such as the Waterford Minor Hurlers. He has worked with teams from a range of different sports including GAA, Soccer, Basketball, Rugby and American Football. Stephen has presented on Strength and Conditioning to multiple GAA sides within Waterford.
Stephen has a background of working one to one with clients ranging from weight loss, posture analysis and correction to elite athletes looking to improve athletic performance. As a personal trainer, Stephen is passionate about helping people achieve their specific goals through personalized programming, whether it be weight loss, fitness or elite performance.
With a BSc First Class Honours Degree in Adapted Physical Activity Stephen specializes in the area of personalizing physical activity to benefit clients within specific population groups such as individuals with disabilities, individuals with posture deviations, older adults and youths. Stephen firmly believes that everyone has the right to take part in physical activity without barriers or restrictions and to reap the physical and psychological rewards.
